The recent anniversary of the release of Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives was a reminder of one of our absolute favorite live events that we ever produced.
On Friday, November 13th, 2015, we produced the first of two Jason Lives screenings with writer/director, Tom McLoughlin. Tom flew in for the sold out event which took place at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar in Austin, Tx.
Armed with newly commissioned artwork by Nathan Thomas Milliner, and a gorgeous 35mm print of the film directly from Paramount, we had blast with fans as Tom graciously signed posters for all in attendance.
He even signed for an adorable little girl who was too young to get into the screening, but still wanted to stop by with her plush Jason doll and get a poster signed.
We had a great Q&A after the screening and enjoyed working with McLoughlin so much that we did it again a year later at the historic, Texas Theatre in Dallas.
But that first screening on a chilly, Friday the 13th evening will live on as one of our proudest event memories!
